Start with the module you need today. Every tool reads the same SCL and shares the same licence, so adding one later costs no re-work.

Why the name

A part that is also a whole

holon · from Greek hólos, whole, and -on, a particle. Coined by Arthur Koestler, 1967.

A holon is complete in itself and, at the same time, part of something larger. A substation works the same way: an IED runs its own logic inside a bay, the bay belongs to the station, the station to the grid.

HolonStation is built on that idea. Each tool does its job alone, and the toolkit as a whole covers the station from the SCL file to the control centre.

Engineering laptops in a substation rarely see the internet. HolonStation is designed for that from the start.

Our software runs next to protection and control systems, so we treat its security as part of the product. We follow a coordinated vulnerability disclosure process and are aligning our development with the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
